Outdoor clean-up day in Highland Park at the Remember Garden, a living memorial to over 800 people who are buried at the site on a mass grave. These forgotten people had lived at the former Almshouse, penitentiary and Insane Asylum that was located at this site.
The day begins at 9AM, we weed the site, and plant new mulch before the beginning of the Annual Lilac Festival.
With volunteers, we can clean and mulch by noon. We supply water and pizza lunch with some additional snacks.
