Work with children and horses and other small farm animals in our camp program that runs weekly throughout summer. Individuals age 18 or older needed to supervise young children in and around barn and horses, keeping them safe and carrying out curriculum provided by summer camp director. Horse handlers/instructors needed. Must have experience with horses, tacking, grooming, lunging, and understanding of basic horsemanship fundamentals. Comfortable in carrying out beginner mini-lessons as provided by camp director and supervise/guide stable management activities with groups of small children.
All hours count towards community service for your resume, job or college application, church, school, scout or other requirements.
