Join us in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy by volunteering Monday, January 17th from 9am-1pm
Every winter, Goodwill of the Finger Lakes' Good Neighbor program distributes thousands of coats to local organizations and individuals in our community. It's all part of being a Good Neighbor!
We recently launched a winter coat drive, and NOW we need your help getting them ready for people who need them.
You can join us this MLK Day, from 9am-1pm to prep and sort the coats for our community. We will be making sure that the coats are gently used and that all zippers and pockets are functional. We will also be tagging and sorting into different categories for easy distribution. This will be at our Clearance Center on Jefferson Road.
Due to our COVID procedures, volunteer sign-up and registration is required. This volunteer opportunity is for ages 16 and up. All volunteers must wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
We will be working in a warehouse environment. There will be no space to hold personal belongings.
