The folks that live at the YWCA are looking for ways to occupy their time, but unfortunately they have limited resources. We are looking for volunteers and donors who could put together craft kits, with materials and simple straight forward instructions.
IDEAS:
- A make your own picture frame, which could include the unfinished frame, wood and glue, paint, and shellac.
- Make your own jewelry, the kit could include beads, buttons, thread etc.
- Decorate your own planters- planter, paint, shellac
- Make your own puzzle
- Make your own stationary
- Decorate your own pillow case kit could include pillow case, and fabric markers
- Make your own mask
- Stress ball kit
- door decorating kits for residents
These are just some ideas, we welcome YOUR creativity as well!
