After-School Youth Mentor & Program Assistant – Pathways 2 Greatness

Inspiring Forces II is seeking energetic, compassionate, and reliable volunteers to serve as After-School Youth Mentors and Program Assistants for our "Pathways 2 Greatness" initiative. Operating out of our State Street suite, this program provides a safe, empowering space for Rochester youth aged 13 to 18. As a mentor, you will work directly with students during our interactive workshop blocks, helping facilitate fun and meaningful activities focused on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), self-awareness, financial literacy, and public speaking. You will also assist with academic support, recreational activities, and distributing daily complimentary meals. If you want to be a positive role model and make a direct, tangible impact on local youth, we would love to have you on our team!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Engage directly with youth (ages 13 to 18) to build positive, supportive mentoring relationships.

• Assist the Program Coordinator in running workshops, group games, and public speaking exercises.

• Provide homework help and academic encouragement during dedicated learning blocks.

• Help set up activities and assist with the daily distribution of youth snacks and meals.

• Model self-discipline, respect, and positive conflict resolution.
