Community Service Opportunity – Volunteers Needed at the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum!
Looking for a meaningful and fun way to earn community service hours this summer? The Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum is seeking student volunteers for the upcoming museum season beginning May 22nd.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to:

  • Greet visitors from around the world
  • Answer questions about the museum and exhibits
  • Assist in the gift shop
  • Help with light cleaning and daily operations

Volunteer perks include:

  • Free admission to the museum
  • 10% discount in the gift shop
  • Flexible scheduling with shifts planned about two weeks in advance

Available shifts:

  • Wednesday–Saturday: 10:00 AM–1:30 PM or 1:30 PM–5:15 PM
  • Sunday: 12:00 PM–2:30 PM or 2:30 PM–5:15 PM

This is a great opportunity to gain experience, meet new people, and support a local historical landmark while completing community service requirements.
