We are seeking volunteers for our community outreach team. Volunteers will work with community stakeholders in a variety of ways to educate about HIV vaccines, vaccinology, sexual health, and health disparities.
- Tabling at community health fairs
- Bar outreach
- Working with college student associations
- Building relationships with faith-based communities
- Participating in our Rochester Pride and Rochester Black Pride community activities
- Translating high-level scientific information to a level everyone can understand
- Developing new outreach strategies
Ideally volunteers will have transportation that allows them to travel throughout the greater Rochester area.
