Looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults? Join the St. Ann’s Community volunteer team! Whether you have a few hours a week or just occasionally, your time and presence can brighten someone’s day and build lasting connections.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Pastoral Care Support
Help escort Elders to Mass or connect as a Eucharistic Minister. You can also share prayer and faith one-on-one.
Life Enrichment Companion
Be a friendly face in the neighborhood! Assist with small group activities or spend time one-on-one doing puzzles, chatting, or joining in events like:
- Bingo
- Arts & crafts
- Gardening
- Bedside manicures
- Musical entertainment
- Helping with event set-up
Friendly Visits
Visit Elders on your own schedule – play games, watch TV, or just sit and share time together.
Pet Visits
Share the joy of your furry friend! Pets with friendly temperaments (no therapy certification required) are welcome after a basic screening. Their humans must be approved volunteers too.
As Needed Volunteers
Busy schedule? No problem! Sign up to be contacted for special events, holiday decorating, gardening days, or one-time opportunities when you’re available.

Getting Started:
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old (those under 18 must volunteer with an adult on weekends unless approved). All volunteers complete:
- Application & interview
- Background check
- Health screening
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Orientation & department meet-and-greet
