Who We Are
Our Mission is to improve the reading, English language, math and digital literacy skills of adults in Monroe County. Our trained volunteers support participants in achieving their personal goals to fully participate in the community as citizens, parents, consumers and workers.
What We Do
We train volunteers to provide instruction for adults, 18 and up, seeking assistance with reading, math (below 9th grade reading level), English as a Second Language, and Digital Literacy. Volunteers meet in public places in Monroe County to work with students to achieve success in the areas they hope to improve.
