Who We Are

Homesteads for Hope is a 501c3 non-profit Community Farm located 10 minutes west of Rochester, NY. We are dedicated to nurturing an inclusive community where individuals with disabilities can thrive.

We were founded by a mother/daughter team wanting better for their son/brother after he graduated from the public school system. Without the ability to get assistance and support, they both decided to create a place for others suffering the same hardships.

Our vision is to help people with and without disabilities to learn to grow, learn, and thrive in nature's classroom. We are proud of what we do and absolutely love serving our community.

What We Do

We are dedicated to nurturing an inclusive community where individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages thrive, finding purpose and belonging through the transformative power of agriculture. Through our community farm experience, we strive to empower individuals with disabilities by providing meaningful opportunities for skill development, social engagement, and personal growth.

We offer classes for adults 18+ seeking to grow their unique ability and purpose in nature's classroom. Our hands-on approach allows participants to experience all that a real, working agritourism center has to offer. Our Program Apprentices can, and do, grow their skills and knowledge on the farm through the use of our greenhouses, gardens, fields, storefront, and learning how to support inclusive community events.
