The Esther Project was founded in 2016 to provide safe, quality and affordable housing to women coming out of shelters and to provide essential support and resources for sustainability. The Esther Project focuses on human-centered, hands-on programs and services that build skills, competencies and mindsets to prevent homelessness from happening again.

The Esther Project focuses on human-centered, hands-on programs and services geared towards building skills, competencies, and mindsets to prevent homelessness from reoccurring.
The Esther Project Programs and Services: Esther Housing for Women
The Esther House: A 12-36 month housing stability program for women. The opportunity provides one furnished room for rent, a stocked kitchen and a closet full of clothing women can access free of charge. Stable Housing Support: A 12-month holistic support program that assesses and addresses the unique needs of women to remain stable in a home. Both Esther Housing Programs provide women access to The Esther House Empowerment Services, a suite of services that address various social determinants of health.
The Annual Purse Project for Women and Teens in Shelters The Purse Project provides fully-loaded purses (or backpacks) with full-sized hygiene products to homeless shelters and youth centers to support women and teens experiencing homelessness.
Operation Storefront Operation Storefront provides furniture directly to women transitioning into stable housing, transitional homes and other community-based organizations that support previously homeless individuals. Visions Hotel supports this program with furniture from its network of hotels.
P31Girlz is a faith-based curriculum focused on developing the social-emotional skills of girls ages 10-14 years to make positive choices and decisions into adulthood.
