The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) serving Upstate and Western New York is dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease for healthcare professionals, patients and their families, and those at risk for kidney disease. 82% of every dollar raised goes to support our vital mission. For over 60 years, the National Kidney Foundation has been responsible for major scientific, legislative, social, and technical progress in the treatment and prevention of kidney disease, including dialysis and transplantation. NKF provides extensive public and professional education, advocates through legislative action, promotes organ donation, and supports kidney research and innovation.
