The Survivor Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes, Inc. (SACFL) is a non-profit domestic/IPV/dating/family violence, sexual assault/rape crisis, stalking, trafficking, and child abuse victim services agency, located in Wayne County, New York. The SACFL provides free, confidential crisis intervention services including personal, community, criminal justice, educational, medical, and legal advocacy; short-term counseling; information and referrals; safe dwelling; 24/7 bilingual (Spanish/English) toll-free hotline; case management and housing supports, and other wrap-around services. These services are provided at SACFL, at the safe dwelling, in victim’s homes, at the hospital, school, or an agreed upon location or via telephone when appropriate. The SACFL provides education and outreach programs to community agencies (including Lions, Rotary, and women organizations, Boy & Girl Scouts, PTAs, etc.) area businesses, churches, local schools and hospitals. The prevention educator provides victimization prevention sessions for adolescents and adults using standardized curriculum. Also, the prevention educator train staffs, faculty and other professionals at colleges in sexual assault and domestic violence prevention, victim identification and intervention.
