Who We Are

Almost forty years ago, the Survivor Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes was started as a Rape Crisis agency and expanded to provide Domestic/IP/Dating Violence, domestic violence safe dwelling, stalking, bullying, and child abuse services. It is the mission of the SACFL to forge a community-wide commitment to end violence and to provide aid to victims in a sensitive, respectful, and confidential manner, bringing community resources to the victim and the victim’s family. The SACFL envisions a community free from violence. The goal is to educate and empower victims and their families to not only survive but thrive. The SACFL continues to encourage the community to collaborate and build a strong, positive, and non-violent environment for all citizens and visitors.
