Who We Are

The Webster Arboretum is considered a hidden treasure in the town of Webster NY.  Meander along 1½ miles of walking trails through pristine gardens, groves and wooded areas where you will find native and unique specimen trees and plantings.  Wander through the conifer garden which is augmented with boulders and a ‘river of stone’. Near the entrance to the arboretum, you will find our herb garden designed in the shape of a flower with six pods with designated themes.  Keep walking and you will view a circular unique bulb garden and native fruit tree varieties. The west-meadow also features vast collections of unique perennials, dahlias and daylilies. Sit for a while on one of our many benches and view our fountained pond which provides a natural habitat for native waterside flora and animal life.  On the east side, you will find creek beds with waterfalls and beautiful bridges.

What We Do

The mission of the Webster Arboretum is to provide a beautifully maintained park-like setting for aesthetic enjoyment and the awareness of the value and beauty of horticulture. We are dedicated to fostering the understanding of botanical resources by providing educational opportunities to the public through signage, regularly scheduled tours, and educational/conservational experiences.
