Who We Are
Camp Whitman on Seneca Lake lives for those who are longing for belonging, seeking connection with community and creation, respite from chaos and competition, and an opportunity to encounter both the Holy and themselves.
What We Do
During our week-long camp programs campers make new friends, experience living in the outdoors, gain independence, and explore their faith in a warm, caring Christian community. We meet each camper wherever they are in their personal faith journey, and provide a fun, safe place to learn about themselves and one another.
An important part of our mission is to provide opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to connect to the outdoors, one another and explore God's word. Additionally, our traditional school age campers experience the joy of camp alongside their enthusiastic and loving friends with developmental disabilities. Our campers learn patience, understanding and compassion through these relationships. Campers in each program have their own counselors, cabins and specially designed activities.
