Volunteer: One-by-One Make a Difference with BAHR & United Day of Caring 2026Begin Again Horse Rescue is an equine rescue that houses approximately 16 equines on-site. The equines are all rescues or owner surrenders and are under evaluation and care for rehabilitation and rehoming. The United Day of Caring volunteers are key to helping spruce up the rescue. Some key focus areas include painting fences/barn doors, weeding and gardening around the house on the property, cleaning the fence line, and general yard work. Maintaining the rescue for the safety of the equines and the volunteers is an important focus. Both individuals and teams are welcome. BAHR will provide lunch for the volunteers.
