Needs From: Volunteer United

Camp Cory's Day Camp area features a garden area where campers can be exposed to growing, maintaining, and harvesting different vegetables throughout the summer. The garden area is in current need of being prepped for the season through general light maintenance on the raised beds, tightening fencing, and incorporating soil amenities. 

Camp Cory offers end of school year trips and a family camp weekend prior to the summer camp season. We are in need of volunteers to assist with preparing the camp. The tasks associated include readying the waterfront, lifting of materials, general landscaping, or other various tasks as needed.

Camp Cory has a large array of various painting and staining projects to accomplish this spring. Many of these projects help protect camp's infrastructure from the elements while providing a welcoming environment to the many campers who enjoy the property. Painting volunteers would need clothes they are comfortable getting paint on, but all other materials would be provided. The projects may include areas such as the amphitheater, program buildings, cabin areas, walkways, and picnic tables.
