The Crisis Nursery and Owen's House, programs of the Center for Youth, are looking for responsible volunteers, (16years and older) to volunteer 1 four hour shift in a child care setting.
The Nurseries care for babies, toddlers and children up to age 14, serving all of Rochester and Monroe County, when the families have an emergency or crisis situation. All volunteer must pass a background check and complete necessary paperwork. Orientation and training is provided.
If you like to hold babies and work with kids, this is perfect for you.
Shifts are generally, 8am-noon, Noon-4pm. 4pm-8pm, and 8pm-midnight (on-call). Weekend shifts are available. We are looking for volunteers for all shifts. We will work with YOUR schedule. We use an online sign up system with lots of flexibility for you.
