Villa of Hope’s Living Hope Treatment Center is a detox facility providing compassionate care for individuals on their journey toward recovery from substance use disorders. We're seeking community volunteers and donated recreational items to help us offer meaningful, healing, and engaging activities to our residents during this critical time in their lives.
Ways You Can Help:
We are looking for individuals or groups to volunteer their time to lead or assist with wellness and recreational activities such as:
-
Fishing
-
Beading and other crafts
-
Yoga and meditation
-
Art or creative expression
-
Sewing
-
Hiking or nature-based activities
-
Physical wellness and movement
-
Peer advocacy
-
Job readiness or life skills workshops
No professional experience required—just a willingness to engage, listen, and support. We welcome creative contributions and new activity ideas!
Donated Items Needed:
If you’re unable to volunteer in person, you can still support our residents by donating items like:
-
Art and craft supplies
-
Fishing gear
-
Yoga mats or meditation tools
-
Sewing materials
-
Recreational or fitness equipment
-
Journals, books, or games
Community Collaboration:
We’re especially interested in partnering with senior centers or senior living homes to create intergenerational experiences that promote connection, purpose, and healing for both residents and volunteers.
