Volunteer Program Coordinator – Youth Mentorship Initiative

Inspiring Forces II is seeking dedicated and organized volunteer Program Coordinators to lead and oversee our after-school "Pathways 2 Greatness" initiative. Operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM Starting 6/30/2026 - 8/14/2026 at our State Street location, this program serves local youth aged 8 to 18. As a Program Coordinator, you will manage daily activities, support youth mentors, and ensure the successful delivery of our core curriculum blocks, which focus on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), self-awareness, financial literacy, and public speaking. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring human services professional, social work student, or community leader looking to gain hands-on program management experience while directly cultivating the next generation of confident, self-aware leaders. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily schedule and coordinate smooth transitions between workshop blocks.

• Provide guidance and support to active volunteer Youth Mentors and Program Assistants.

• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment for participants.

• Coordinate the distribution of daily complimentary meals and snacks.

• Act as a professional on-site representative of Inspiring Forces II.

Skills & Experience Desired:

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Experience or interest in youth advocacy, human services, or social work.

• Ability to maintain a consistent, reliable schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• A warm, engaging personality capable of motivating both peers and youth.

Requirements:

• Age 18 or older.
