- HomeCare & Hospice is seeking Office Volunteers to assist in our Arcade and Wellsville offices. If you enjoy staying organized, helping others, and being part of a supportive team, this is a meaningful way to contribute to compassionate care in our community.
While our clinical staff works directly with patients and families, our office volunteers help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
As an Office Volunteer, you may:
Assist with Administrative Tasks
Help with filing, copying, mailings, and occasional phone support to keep our office efficient and organized.
Support Special Projects
Prepare bereavement mailings, assemble patient information packets, and help create welcoming baskets for new patients and families.
Be Part of the Team
Assist with various office projects that support staff and help ensure a positive experience for the patients and families we serve.
Your time and attention to detail help make it possible for our team to provide exceptional care to those who need it most.
Volunteer Training & Requirements
Because office volunteers may work with patient information, they complete the same application and training process as hospice employees. This includes an annual physical, MMR vaccination, and initial PPD test, all provided at no cost. We also work around your schedule, vacations, and availability.
