Nielsen House – Spring Cleanup Volunteer Day (30 Volunteers)
Nielsen House is a transitional housing program for men rebuilding their lives after incarceration, offering stable housing and supportive services during reentry. We’re looking for up to 30 volunteers to help with a Spring Cleanup Day to refresh the home and grounds.
Volunteers may assist with yard cleanup, raking, garden bed prep, light landscaping, organizing shared spaces, revamping bulletin boards, deep cleaning upholstery, shining floors, painting, and general tidying indoors and outdoors. Nielsen House also has a large vegetable garden that needs plenty of spring attention.
Volunteers are welcome to bring annuals or perennials to plant if they’d like to contribute to the garden spaces. Staff will guide all tasks—no special skills needed, just a willingness to help.
