Needs From: Volunteer United

Our next distribution is coming soon, and we need your help to provide essential hygiene products to our community in need! For our distribution on Saturday, September 13th, we are especially in need of deodorants (mens, womens, and unisex), tampons and maxi pads, body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent (regular/sensitive skin), and kitchen garbage bags. See our ongoing Donations need for the full list of items we provide at each distribution. We are looking for full-size, unopened items. Any donations can be mailed to Jubilee Christian Church: 3565 Lake Road North Brockport, NY 14420 or dropped off in the beige bin by the entrance. Bless you and thank you for your support!

The Community Hygiene Bank is a volunteer-based organization and we need lots of help to manage our distributions. Our next distribution is coming up soon and we need your help! Most volunteers help with distributions by setting up on the Thursday before, and by walking community members through the distribution or managing a table and helping clients pick out their hygiene items on the day of. There are many different ways that anybody can help with distributions, no special skills or experience required, so don't hesitate to reach out. For this next distribution, we need help on Thursday, May 1st from 4-7pm for set up and/or Saturday, September 13th from 9:30am-2:30pm for the distribution event. To respond to the needs of vulnerable populations within Brockport, the Community Hygiene Bank is collecting various hygiene items. At this time, we are looking for the following donations:

- Facial Tissue

- Body wash (mens, womens, sensitive skin)

- Shampoo

- Body lotion

- Toothbrush (youth/adult)

- Toothpaste

- Deodorant (mens/womens/unisex)

- Feminine hygiene products (maxi pads/tampons/panty liners)

- Women's bladder leak pads

- Incontinence/bed pads

- Adult diapers (any size)

- Bar soap (dove and dial preferred) 

- Disposable Razors (mens/womens)

- Over night heavy leak pads

- Liquid dish soap

- All-purpose cleaning products (spray or liquid)

- Laundry Detergent (regular/sensitive skin)

- Toilet paper

- Paper towels

- Kitchen garbage bags

We are especially in need of L to XXL diapers, feminine hygiene products, and deodorant!

Items can be dropped off at Jubilee Christian Church in the beige bin (located at the main entrance behind the bench), located at 3565 Lake Rd N. in Brockport, or mailed to:

 Community Hygiene Bank Wish List

The Community Hygiene Bank is currently looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help us manage our amazing volunteers! This is a volunteer position that would help us lead our current volunteers and provide outreach to welcome new volunteers to our team. Your friends, church group, scout group or business can get together and collect items the Community Hygiene Bank. We are in desperate need for Male and female deodorants, shampoo, general household use spray cleaners and body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, feminine hygiene products: maxi pads, tampons and bladder leak pads, facial tissues and kitchen sized garbage bags are the most needed items overall.
