Needs From: Volunteer United

Help to beautify the outdoor space at Volunteers of America's Family Shelter by pulling weeds, trimming bushes, putting down mulch and planting flowers.  Volunteers should wear work/gardening clothes and bring gardening gloves if they have them.  This project will still occur if there is light rain, but will be cancelled if there are thunderstorms.

Volunteers should wear work/gardening clothes and bring gardening gloves if they have them.  This project will go forward if there is light rain, but will be cancelled if there is heavy rain/thunderstorms. 

Volunteers of America’s Emergency Shelter for Homeless Families is open and operating.   We are serving more than 50 men, women and children daily, providing them with housing, nutritious meals, and private rooms were they can safely self-isolate.  

We rely on the generous support of community members to provide us with basic necessities for families, including personal toiletries (shampoo and deodorant), towels and linens.  We also need supplies for the shelter, including:
