Batavia Girls Fastpitch Softball

BGFS is a 501c3 organization founded for the purpose of providing young ladies from the community an opportunity to play organized fast pitch softball.  We do not believe in having cuts, which means girls of all skill levels can participate without the pressure of making the team.  We are an energetic and fun group of board members/coaches/community leaders, who share the common goal of providing the young ladies an exciting and fun outlet.  We make it our mission to not only instruct the ladies in softball, but when a situation on the field calls for it, we relate what happened on the field to real life and try to make these young ladies better citizens in our community.

We field between 4-6 teams each year at the 8u, 10u 12u and 9th-12th grade level, that play in a league comprised of teams from the GLOW region.  In addition, we run additional clinics in the winter and summer for the ladies to improve their skills.  We incorporate additional fun elements throughout the year, including picnics, parade marching, Batavia Muckdog games, etc.  We want the ladies to get better at the game of softball and have fun doing so!
