UR Well at Maplewood YMCA

UR Well at Maplewood YMCA provides free high-quality preventative and health maintenance services to uninsured and under-served families and individuals in an effort to foster the health of the community of Rochester, NY while promoting the spirit of education, social justice, and collaboration. Our clinic is run entirely by medical students at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in collaboration with volunteer physicians from the University of Rochester Medical Center. 

Our free services include: Physical exams, Screening services for disorders such as hypertension and diabetes, Ongoing care for chronic conditions, PPD testing, Work physicals, Referrals to healthcare specialists (ex. Primary care, dental), Health education and preventative medicine, Social evaluations to determine patient eligibility for programs like Medicaid.
