The Community Food Cupboard of Rochester

Who We Are

As we come to the beginning of a new year, my seventh as Administrator, I feel optimistic that we are moving into a post-pandemic era, blessed to be part of an organization where can you find diversity, cohesiveness, & camaraderie all rolled into one. There are few places in this world that bring a group of complete strangers together: employees, volunteers, outside agencies, good Samaritans, working for a common goal, serving those in need in northeast Rochester and Irondequoit. Our central goal is to deliver food to home-bound elderly & medically referred persons and to serve individuals and families on an emergency basis. All of us contribute to the overall success of this mission. One will not work without the other. A place where working and interacting with these people make you feel appreciated and acknowledged despite any difference of opinions on outside issues. That is who we are!
