Mercy Bridges

Mercy Bridges is a supported ministry of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas that provides basic one-to-one tutoring in literacy education to all adults regardless of religious affiliation. In addition, Mercy Bridges welcomes immigrants and refugees seeking English as a second language tutoring in collaboration with the Greater Rochester NY community.

The Mercy Bridges program provides one-to-one basic literacy or English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring to adult learners. Our program also recruits tutors interested in providing basic financial/math literacy. Our program is open to any adult living in the greater Rochester NY area regardless of religious affiliation. Mercy Bridges has a special focus on the literacy needs of immigrants and refugees or any adult who desires literacy tutoring.
