Project URGE, Inc.

Project URGE works to develop partnerships between urban and suburban churches, agencies and organizations to create positive change and development in under-resourced areas of Rochester. Its mission is to help resolve issues of poverty and racism through dialogue, education, strategy and volunteerism.

Project URGE ministry teams are Mothers in Need of Others (MINO) and Diversity Café. MINO provides support for babies, toddlers, mothers and families by receiving donations of maternity and baby supplies and cleaning products to redistribute to social service agencies and church outreach programs. Diversity Café consists of faithful men and women of different cultures and races who build relationships with one another and have candid discussions on race.
