Who We Are

We partner with people of all ages and all walks of life to help them achieve their full human potential. A division of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester, our staff offer compassionate and comprehensive services to families and individuals who need us the most.

This is our promise to our friends, our neighbors, and our community: we will provide housing, employment, and coordination of care to help people of all ages and all walks of life live independently with dignity, while facing the challenges of addiction, aging, mental illness, HIV, poverty, developmental disabilities, and immigration.

What We Do

1000+ employees and volunteers, 80+ programs, 32 locations, and 1 mission

Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is one program where Individuals with developmental disabilities can live independently and inclusively in their communities in one of Catholic Charities’ residential locations located in Monroe, Wayne and Yates Counties.

Our group and private living environments are staffed with trained personnel, based on individual needs. Our direct support professionals provide assistance with all areas of daily living, including: personal hygiene, healthcare, medication administration, nutrition, transportation to medical and other appointments, service planning, recreation and leisure activities.

Residents develop close-knit relationships with their housemates, often referring to them as "family,” which helps create a stable and comfortable environment where people are happy to come home.
